Vince Scott, President and CEO, Scott Companies A native of Napa Valley, Vince Scott moved to Lake Tahoe in 1988. He has been actively involved as a business leader in the region’s real estate and development industries for nearly two decades.

As a broker in Nevada for 15 years and California for five, Vince has closed more than $300 million in gross sales and completed over 2,000 transactions. He’s a passionate supporter of innovative, environmentally responsible for building and believes that developers should be accountable to their investors and the communities in which they do business.

For more than 15 years, Vince has been helping individuals and investors to negotiate through the difficult permitting processes of Washoe County and the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA).

Today, he’s widely known as one of the premiere developers in the Tahoe basin. His accomplishments include construction development, brokerage and management of single and multi-family, commercial, hotel and resort properties and the responsible development of some of Tahoe’s most difficult and challenging environment projects.

Vince currently resides in the Tahoe area with his family. He is an integral member of the community and takes a personal interest in ensuring that development in the region is well planned and designed. He believes developments should encompass a big-picture vision, balancing social responsibility, local economies and environmental improvements while still providing a sound return on investment.
